Ossining Spartans Win Swimming League Title

OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Spartans clinch the Northern Westchester Swim Conference Division III Summer League title, following a perfect 5-0 season.

Seventeen Spartan won their events at Saturday's Division III Championship Meet and advanced to Sunday's All-Star Meet for all of Northern Westchester.

Leaila Alexander (8 and under, 25-yard breaststroke), Kate Flynn (18 and under, 100-yard freestyle), and Stella Meyerhoeffer (12 and under, 50-yard backstroke) topped the whole league in their events, with Meyerhoeffer's winning time of 29.82, setting an all-time league record.
